A yearly affair, The Land Rover Festival is a gathering of the region's Land Rover owners who coined themselves 'The Rovernuts'.
The festival's 2017 Singapore organisers decided the tiny island state was too small for such an event and thus, the festival soon turned into an epic overland journey from Singapore to Pai, a picturesque hippy town north of Chiangmai, Thailand.
With the festival theme 'The Bare Essentials Tour', it was pretty apt that the festival mascots were a naked hippy couple, circa 1969, the average birth year of majority of the participants.
A festival goodie bag which includes patches, tee shirts, a dry bag, and a guidebook was given to all participants.
The journey begins from Singapore, making many pitstops along the way through Thailand.
